How does it work?
Your first session is a great opportunity for you to decide if the therapist is the right one for you.
Ask as many questions as you like. When you are satisfied with what you hear/see/feel,
you will be asked to make choices about further sessions.
Counselling is traditionally done face to face. Occasionally, depending on your circumstances,
it may suit you better to have a skype or phone session or two.
Sessions are usually conducted in blocks of 1 hour
Though I prefer to see couples for 1.5 hour blocks
If preferred you can also book 1, 2 or 3 hours per session

* Phone - I will call you on your phone number at the agreed time.
* Skype - My skype name is famaroux - please 'friend' me at least 24 hours prior to the session.
Ensure you have a private, quiet space, and a good microphone or headset, so sound quality is good enough for the session.

Benefits?
"Time heals all wounds" - Right? Not always !! If a wound is not attended to properly
when it first happens, it can heal badly and come back to cause problems later on.

If something is troubling you, it's true, it may eventually right itself -
Counselling however, will tend to shorten the time to solve the situation
and teach you the awareness to not repeat it again

How much does counselling cost?
Pricing:
$120 per hour for singles
$150 per hour for couples
Subsidies? Some subsidies are available for unemployed, underemployed or pensioners... please ask at your session.
Payment can be made by either cash or credit and debit cards or direct deposit.
Some Health funds - including Medibank - cover the cost of counselling / coaching
- please check with your own fund.
