1 day workshop -  Bellingen - Saturday, October 15

There is almost a sensual longing for communion with others who have a large vision. The immense fulfillment of the friendship between those engaged in furthering the evolution of consciousness has a quality impossible to describe.      ~Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

This 1 day workshop will give you a spicy, sweet and occasionally bitter taste of what it means to truly experience Authentic Community. Based on the seminal work of Scott Peck, and facilitated by the excellent Shane Holst, we will lay the foundation for a radical new way of creating community

Experiencing truly Authentic Community is a radical act. It is so relatively new for humanity, and therefore so rarely experienced, that many of us just park it on the side as a vague glimmer of possibility. Authentic Community is a place where you not only feel supported and connected, but completely free to be the full expression of who you are.

And so more and more of us are feeling the impulse to connect on deeper levels… and not just with our loved ones, but with friends, associates and workmates. After a few very useful generations of focusing on the individual, the self, there is this palpable yearning for connecting to our tribe, to feel the support, understanding, intimacy and freedom afforded by a wider circle of like-minded people.

Perhaps this yearning is both practical and spiritual. Practical, because as the old political, financial and societal systems break down, we will definitely need each other on a day to day basis. And spiritual, because that is the ultimate journey of our soul… to experience Oneness and Separation.
